This is the one and only group work for this semester. Bigger group for a bigger scale project:
Neighbourhood Planning.
Given: a lot at Jln Tun Dr. Awang, near the military camp,
on the way from Bayan Baru to Penang International Airport.
Nat, Ila, Ifa & I had a kick start with bubble diagram, followed by collage style
planning & arrangement of circulation, housing lots & utilities.

Final work:
Meet Taman Sentosa (Sentosa means peace & serenity), made for retired soldiers.
This name suits it as these group of people had something sacrificed in the name of peace.
Features of this neighbourhood would be
(1) one of the entrance covered with 2 rows of tree canopy, like this one in
Taiping Lake Garden, Taiping, Perak
&
(2) the Landscaped garden where the young and elderly can have their recreations and

Planning a neighbourhood isn't simple at all. Learned a lot of by laws and specifications for circulation and service road. We learned how to utilize spaces. There are spaces to be occupied and spaces that are supposed to be left untouched to create harmony and a sense of calmness.
My favourite part of the project? the canopied entrance :)
